Introductory Conversation

A brief conversation about your manuscript

If you’re working on a book and wondering what your next step might be, this is a place to begin.

This is a chance for us to talk about your project and whether working together would be a good fit.

    The conversation:

    Here's what we'll do:

    • Talk about the manuscript you’re working on
    • Explore what you’re aiming for and where you are in the process
    • Identify what kind of support would be most useful
    • Consider possible next steps

    This is for you if:

    • You’re thinking about working with a coach or developmental editor
    • You’d like to talk through your project before deciding on next steps
    • You’re curious about how I work and whether it aligns with what you need

    What you’ll leave with:

    • A clearer sense of your options
    • A sense of whether working together feels like a good fit
    • A possible next step, if you’d like one

This is a dialogue about your project. I don’t read pages for this call.
For a closer, developmental look at your manuscript, you may want to begin or continue on with a Clarity Session.

    From a former client:

"Katherine led this manuscript out of those rough stages and helped me create a story I can feel proud of. "
