2025 Full-Bodied Writing Retreat Earlybird Registration

Here's what some of our writers had to say about this year's Full-Bodied Writing Retreat:

"So much was valuable to me. All the tools shared in the three craft sessions were amazing. Being in this beautiful setting with a welcoming community of other writers made me feel very comfortable and inspired!!" --Marjorie Nye

"[Massage was] wonderful. Not only her massage, but attitude, voice, etc. Professional, but not aloof." --Anonymous participant

"Took a short walk up on a trail through the forest--that was great. Grounds and views are so beautiful!" --Brian Bek

We are already gearing up for next year, and we'd really like you to be there.

The 2025 retreat will be held June 20-22.*

The earlybird discount code, good for $50 off through December 31, is FBW25EarlyBird.

Registrations are already coming in (we announce to our alums first), so you'll want to act sooner rather than later.

We have also added a referral discount. Bring a friend who has never been to the Full-Bodied Writing Retreat, and receive $25 off for both you and the friend. That code is simply REFERRAL. You can get the discount retroactively if you refer a friend later, either as a $25 refund or to apply to 2026.

Katherine

PS I'd love to see you at our FREE Labyrinth Write-Ins on Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 PT. Come write with us in companionable silence.

*I know some of you were unable to come because retreat began on the last day of school. We are working with Dan to possibly find a July date for 2025. This would involve another group switching places with us, so we don't know if it's possible. Dan will speak with the groups as they come for their own retreats this month. In the meantime, we are holding our spot on June 20-22. If we were to be offered a different weekend, we would contact all registered people first, going ahead only if it still works for the majority. If it made attending the retreat impossible for you, you would, of course, receive a full refund. Again, it may not work to make a change, but we wanted to give you a head's up.

Hey all! Here's something I spent the spring working on with a small, dedicated group of writers, who helped me get it ready for you! It was so lovely to be back in that weekly group energy and hearing people's wonderful stories. Now our new, limited-enrollment coaching groups begin in mid-July. Won't you join us? Here's the skinny:You don’t need to write alone.Your story matters—but when you’re in the thick of it, it’s easy to lose your way. What seemed clear at first starts to blur. The...

Hello all! I wanted to let you know about a really fun opportunity, which my friend, editor Lynn Post, is hosting. The Mid-Summer Writes Dream retreat will be held at a unique, idyllic property on Vashon Island that offers the best of both worlds: outdoor camping in a quiet, peaceful setting completely immersed in nature, with access to the basic comforts of home (flushing toilets, showers, electricity, wifi, and a full kitchen)! This glamping-style retreat was intentionally designed to be...

Someone told me recently that he felt "more himself" when he wrote. And I thought, "Yes!" We write to let loose the stories clamoring around in our heads, to crystalize thoughts and emotions, to give form to something ethereal. And the work transforms us. This is the way we heal: We become solidly, authentically ourselves. We give form to what is within us. And we take that light and our transformed selves to the world. This is not a luxury. It is not a thing to set aside until we have "spare...
